Altruck International Truck Centres is currently seeking a **Part Time AZ/DZ Driver** for its **Kitchener/ Guelph** branch.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Operate a delivery vehicle in a safe, courteous and efficient manner
- Provide excellent customer service through the delivery and pickup
- Manage, maintain and develop delivery routes with a focus on maximizing efficiency
- Loading/ unloading of product and various associated responsibilities
- Load truck in such a way as to eliminate damage to fragile parts
- May be required to unpack incoming shipments, verify the accuracy, and check the condition of parts
- May be required to post receipts and handle cash/cheques from customers
- Conduct daily delivery vehicle inspections to ensure health and safety requirements are met
- Report any malfunctions of the delivery vehicle immediately
- Verify product and accuracy with customers at location

**YOU ARE GOOD AT**

Required skills:

- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving abstract is mandatory
- AZ/DZ license
- Thorough knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic laws
- Mechanical skills to maintain vehicles and solve minor problems is helpful
- Understanding of geographical locations and able to read a map
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs
- May be required to pull or push parts weighing more than 50 lbs. Help is available
- Can pace driving and schedule pickups in a timely fashion
- Able to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
- Good communication skills and good understanding of safety precautions
- Knowledge of the GTA area is an asset
