**Operational Responsibilities**:
Oversees and manages the daily operations of the daycare center. Oversee the development and implementation of age-appropriate activities.
Ensure that the daycare program aligns with educational and developmental standards.
Ensure the daycare center complies with all relevant health and safety regulations according to Child Care Licensing Regulations.
Conduct regular safety drills and train staff on emergency procedures.
Maintain accurate records of immunizations, health screenings, and other necessary documentation.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the childcare center.
Follow health and safety regulations, including administering first aid when necessary.
Manage the daycare budget (petty cash of $200 per month), including monitoring expenses.
Source and purchase supplies, equipment, and educational materials within budgetary constraints.
Stay informed about trends and best practices in early childhood education.
Implement improvements to enhance the quality of care and education provided.
Collaborate with the owner to create a positive and supportive work environment.
Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
Ensures that facilities are well maintained.

Support the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and educational activities.
Assist in planning and organizing educational and play activities.
Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
**Childcare and Basic Needs**:
In charge of diaper changing, toilet training, and feeding.
Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment.
Ensure children have access to snacks and meals at scheduled times.
**Record Keeping**:
Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, activities, and any incidents.
Keep daily logs or reports for parents/guardians.
**Communication**:
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding a child's daily activities and progress.
Collaborate with the owner and other staff to share information and ensure consistency in care and education.
Communicate and meet with parents regarding the center’s policies.
**Special Needs Support**:
Provide additional support to children with special needs.
Work with the one-on-one support (Behaviour Interventionist Staff) to create an inclusive environment for the child with special needs.
**Cultural Sensitivity**:
Respect and incorporate cultural diversity and sensitivity into the childcare environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
