The Meat Counter Clerk reflects the good image of the company with exceptional customer service, while ensuring that fresh, quality products are always available. He/she works in collaboration with the members of his/her team, under the direction of the department manager. He/she respects hygiene and food safety standards, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Assist with Customer Service at Meat counter which includes packing and bagging requested Meat products.
- Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
- Adhere to store dress and personal hygiene code
- Adhere to safety standards and wear personal protective equipment as required
- Follow food safety procedures as required by the department
- Follow procedures to avoid contamination: hand washing, change of gloves, hair net, respect of colors for boards and knives, etc.
- Pack meat
- Follow procedures applicable to the opening and/or closing of the department
- Execute departmental merchandising plans with respect to circular products
- Supply displays, shelves, refrigerated compartments and ensure their aesthetics
- Help control inventory levels to minimize losses
- Ensures the reception of merchandise while respecting the cold chain
- Rotate merchandise to ensure freshness and optimal quality
- Check the temperature of the refrigerators and freezers
- Notify manager of equipment malfunctions
- Follow cleaning procedures and respect the maintenance schedule of tools and instruments
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Pay: From $16.10 per hour
