Sagard is a UN PRI signatory and strives to measure and assess the social and economic impact it has on the people and businesses within our network, as well as on our society as a whole. **Position overview**: We are currently looking for an outstanding individual to join our fast-paced and rapidly growing Investor Relations (IR) team as an Analyst in Toronto or Montreal. **Your Responsibilities**: - Maintain the CRMs (DealCloud and Affinity), an internal knowledge base of diligence responses and investor information (DiligenceVault), and other tools (investor portal and virtual data room) to support IR operations; - Conduct investor and market research using external databases such as Preqin, eVestment, and Pitchbook to support product development and distribution efforts; - Coordinate investment and operational due diligence and investor onboarding activities alongside other members of the IR team; - Prepare documents and materials for internal and external collaborators (e.g. fund notices, quarterly reporting, LPAC, board and marketing presentations) in close collaboration with the investment, finance, and legal teams; and - Support senior professionals across the firm on business development efforts including prospect sourcing, tracking, outreach, and ad-hoc projects. **Experience & Qualifications**: - Bachelor degree in business, finance or related field - Experience 2-3 of years in investor relations, financial services, consulting or marketing - Advanced knowledge of Google suite and Microsoft Office - Financial and business insight, including a firm grasp of financial metrics - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of multitasking with outstanding attention to detail - Excellent organizational and communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills - Proactive, collaborative and strategic with strong technical and interpersonal skills combined with the desire to work closely with various teams across the company - Ability to summarize sophisticated information and present it in a simplified manner. - Self-motivated; able to work in a team and independently - _Rigorous _- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; organized and outstanding attention to detail; a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced, results-driven workplace; hard-working and willingness to work nights and weekends when required. - _Proactive and innovative _- Thrives in an unstructured working environment; curious and eager to learn about a wide variety of topics; suggests new ideas and new ways of working - _Collaborative _- Inclusive operating style coupled with a hands-on, results-oriented attitude. - Excellent spoken and written in English.
