Markham, Canada Maple Supply Chain Management Inc. Full time

At least 4 years of experience in commercial lending, especially in the warehouse sector and strong financial skills
- Solid knowledge in international trade especially Asian markets with focus on China.
- Graduate degree in business required; preferably in Finance.
- Deep knowledge of commercial mortgage products, regulations, and policies.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. Relevant professional certifications, designations are preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of the bank’s loan policies and guidelines and the regulatory (OSFI) requirements.
- Ability to understand and analyze commercial and residential appraisal reports.
- Ability to conduct in-depth financial and collateral analysis in accordance with the lending guidelines.

The primary communication language on this position is English and Mandarin.

Duties on the job will include but not be limited to:

- Analyzing relevant information such as income documents, credit report, rent roll, financial statements, invoices, property management contract, leases, appraisal, environmental site assessment, building condition assessment, etc. to complete in-depth loan analysis for senior management review.
- Summarizing all property details, figures and analysis into a loan approval packages for review and approval.
- Ensuring that terms and conditions of authorizations and loan documentation are being adhered to including pricing, term, and amount.
- Recognizing and ensuring that all exceptions to policies and procedures are brought to the attention of management for resolution when required.
- Completing underwriting for both residential and commercial loans supported by appropriate due diligence and well-reasoned recommendations.
- Reviewing credit packages prior to submission for policy compliance, structural soundness and credit weakness.
- Following up and resolving any loan funding or asset management issues
- Researching and updating records relating to market conditions such as vacancy rates, rental rates, cap rates, property values, etc.

Maple supply chain management inc. is located at 235 Hood Road Unit 2, Markham, Ontario L3R 4N3 Canada; this will be the work location of the Commercial lending analyst.

The position is compensated at $74,100 per year, with minimum of 37.5 work hours per week.
