The James Hotel is a boutique hotel located along the Saskatchewan River in downtown Saskatoon.
The **Guest Experience Host **which is known as a Bellperson in most hotels, is an elevated role at The James Hotel. The Guest Experience Host will ensure customer service is the top priority from first encounters to guest departure.
As Guest Experience Host you will provide our guests with luggage assistance, concierge type duties, delivery of room service, guest room deliveries, handle guest inquiries and maintain the front entrance to create an inviting welcome. You may also assist in our Breakfast Room on the morning shift or supporting the Front Desk when their are multiple check ins at one time.
You must be well-versed in city activities and happenings in order to be successful in this role. You will be a support role for the various departments of The James Hotel in order to execute exceptional service to our guests throughout their stay.
This position will allow 16-24 hours per week if you are open with your availability, weekends are our busiest time frame so weekends are a must in this position.
**Requirements**:
- Computer literacy is an asset, particularly in Microsoft Word and Hotel PMS experience
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor
- Experience in Hotel Operations is a definite asset
- Driving and Parking Vehicles will be required so a clean Canadian driving abstract for past 3years is necessary with the ability to drive an automatic or standard
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; customer service oriented, proactive and a team player
- Self motivator, personable, and present themselves in a professional manner
- Must have your Serve It Right SK Certificate and be 19+years of age
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
**Salary**: From $12.40 per hour
