**Essential Functions**:
**Data Exploration and Analysis**:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
- Utilize Python, R, and Excel to perform statistical analysis, data cleansing, and feature engineering.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Develop and implement data transformation processes to enhance data quality and usability.
**Data Visualization and Reporting**:
- Create compelling visualizations using Tableau or other tools to communicate complex insights to stakeholders.
- Design interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable information for decision-makers.
- Translate technical findings into clear, concise narratives for non-technical audiences.
- Ensure data visualizations adhere to best practices and enhance user understanding.
**Finding Stories in Data**:
- Dig deep into the data to uncover compelling narratives and insights.
- Transform raw numbers into impactful stories that drive business decisions.
- Use data visualization techniques to convey these stories effectively, making them accessible and actionable for stakeholders.
**Client Engagement and Delivery**:
- Work closely with clients to understand their unique data needs and objectives.
- Take existing reports tailored for individual clients and find ways to generalize them for broader use.
- Collaborate on project scoping, requirements gathering, and project planning.
- Deliver high-quality data products, reports, and recommendations to clients.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, actively listening to feedback and addressing concerns.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and Excel.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and data manipulation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to diverse audiences.
- Experience in client-facing roles and a passion for driving business impact through data.
