**JOB TITLE**: Program Manager
The Program Manager is responsible for the management and quality assurance of all programs and services provided by the organization, including the training and supervision of all coordinators, counsellors, and facilitators. All aspects of the position will be aligned with the organization vision and mission and in an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed style of management.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Management_
- Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, management of direct reports, staff development, orientation, training, and performance management.
- Responsible for providing strategic direction to staff regarding performance standards, work plans, and goals
- Provide direct supervision to assigned front line programming staff
- Assume overall responsibility for effective operation of all programs and services including, quality assurance, process improvement, data management, and feedback of the services provided by the agency, funders, and clients
- Identify and implement tools, processes, interventions or infrastructure necessary to ensure success of the various programs and services
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to develop and implement programs and program evaluation
- Address client complaints in a timely matter and in accordance with our organizational policies and procedures
- Oversee the maintenance of client records in the agency database, ensuring compliance with regulations, legal and ethical standards
- Supporting staff in developing program specific promotional, educational materials
- Conducting regular staff performance reviews for appropriate and constructive feedback
- Community Engagement_
- Maintain current knowledge of trends, initiatives and best practices in the sector. Support this integration into the agency’s programs as appropriate
- Network with external sources through public speaking, providing in-service training, attending conference, and training
- Administration_
- As a member of the management team, participate in the development and implementation of agency wide policies and procedures.
- Lead the strategic planning of the agency’s various programs and services
- Work with the Executive Director in the preparation and management of annual programs operational budget
- Provide back up support to the Executive Director as required
- Ensure high quality, inclusive, anti-oppressive, accessible, client-directed service.
Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Master’s Degree in Social Services or related discipline or equivalent education and experience
- 3-5 years of progressive management experience. Staff supervision in a social service setting is preferred
- Strong leadership and motivational skills with demonstrated people management skills
- Facilitation solution focused problem-solving skills
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and work in a collaborative environment
- Proven data management and analysis skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office 365
- A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records check
