Working closely with the Senior Manager, Learning Initiatives, the Learning Specialist is responsible for planning, consulting, organizing, and executing high-quality learning experiences for Summer and Articling Students, as well as Junior Associates.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Takes a lead role in ensuring the smooth delivery of all junior learning curriculum programs, including acting as primary host, confidently keeping program pacing on track to ensure coverage of key topics, evaluating program success and implementing design changes. Technical proficiency with Zoom and MS Teams required
- Maintains presenter pool by continually sourcing, prepping, supporting and assessing new presenters as required. Advises presenters on learning design fundamentals to ensure effective presentations that meet organizational and learning goals as well as CPD criteria

**Position Requirements**
- Education and Experience_

This position requires a university degree, and 3 years’ work experience in a learning role, preferably in a professional services environment with both learning design and learning project management experience. Certifications in project management and/or adult learning an asset. Knowledge of legal CPD administration or ability to quickly gain this knowledge an asset.
- Knowledge and Skills_
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and text
- Adult learning and instructional design experience
- Highly flexible, with strong customer service-orientation and professional manner
- Computer knowledge including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Experience using an LMS
- Facilitation/presentation skills and aptitudes
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Interest in and aptitude for educational technology
- Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality

We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement, which includes a requirement to work primarily in the office and flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
