YOU WILL:
- Own and execute product submissions with meticulous attention to detail, guiding the process from submission to launch
- Monitor market performance and ensure all accounts are receiving optimal customer service, education and sales
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with provincial and retail customers
- Monitor and maintain provincial and retailer requests as required
- Maintain up-to-date product information with all customers
- Partner with CCO on all product commercialization including branding, packaging, development, route-to-market and long-term strategy and product life cycle
- Manage the product pipeline, from concept to GS1 to components of all brands
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing and Sales on the development of new products from concept, brand development, R&D and go-to-market plans
- Support Marketing on go-to-launch and optimization strategies including long-term product roadmaps
- Track product performance and positioning with sales to measure the success market penetration in each region
- Gather and communicate market intelligence and feedback from account partners
- Research and communicate industry and product trends in external markets
- Ensure best-in-class design, execution and communication of research results into useful reports and presentations.
- Act as the voice of the “Customer”
- All other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5-7 years’ experience in Product management, Account Management, Sales, Marketing or similar positions
- Ability to manage the full product life cycle
- Understanding of the Cannabis industry and sales landscape
- Knowledge and awareness of Cannabis industry trends
- Strong mindset for data and trend analysis
