**Overview**:
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while maintaining a space guests will want to return to through creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes, Plank specific cocktail recipes, and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
- Stay informed about menu offerings, drink specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests.
- Uphold food safety standards and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous bartending experience is a must, minimum 2 years at a fast faced cocktail bar.
- Knowledge of classic cocktail recipes.
- Strong knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a hospitable environment.
- Ability to operate POS systems efficiently for order processing.
- Strong attention to detail in drink preparation and presentation.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (we are ideally looking for someone with full, open availability).
