As part of our growth, the INDIE ALEHOUSE Brewing Co is looking to find a part-time **HR Associate** who can grow with us.

This role will start as a contract position, with more opportunities quickly evolving with our continued growth. We are looking for a self-starter, strong communicator, and highly organized individual with a passion for HR services who would like to grow and develop an HR career.

We are more concerned with who you are, what soft skills you have, and your personality vs. your professional experience, but some experience is required. This role will provide a hands-on unique learning experience for the right HR Professional looking to expand their skills in the industry and to supplement their existing career path.
- This is a Hybrid (In office/remote) part-time position of 20-30 hrs per week - _We do have three locations in the GTA and travel to these from time to time will be required

What you’ll work on
- HR Project related work - Assist the company with various projects around company culture, events, record keeping and staff development
- Management of employee onboarding and exiting
- Announcements, new hire check list, supplies
- Administration of company vacations - Vacation tracking tool, reminders to staff and managers
- Internal Communication - Keeping the company in tune with what is happening in the organization
- Employee engagement - Ambassador of employee engagement - What should the company do to improve engagement and employee satisfaction (Surveys, events, announcement, policies, etc)
- Executive Assistance - Support the executive management team during operational meetings

**What you’ll need**
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Google Products (Gmail, GoogleMeets, etc)
- Professional maturity, discretion, and good judgement given the nature of work
- Principled and strong moral compass when it comes to doing the right thing
- Familiarity with a small entrapreneurial growth company is an asset, not critical
- Ideally some in-office HR department experience is a strong assett, but advanced schooling / degree is also possible

**Additional details**
