**Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Prepare Tender Process, analyze project documents to prepare accurate cost estimates & Budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements.
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of full cost estimates on conceptual, design-build or general tender work.
- Attend tender meetings, perform needed measurements, takeoffs, review site conditions, etc.
- Prepare materials, labour and equipment cost estimations necessary to successfully carry out a construction project according to proposals, plans, estimates and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain a list of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Review and comment on shop drawings along with Design Manager
- Familiarize the project team with the terms of the project based on estimation.
- Identify suitable service offerings for clients when applicable.
- Provide recommendations to client on all bid summaries.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Maintain rapport with clients.
- Prepares and manages tender packages which include scopes of work and tender documentation for the trades.
- Research of new products and materials, for the purpose of cost saving, efficiency, and use of sustainable alternatives.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Must Possess a valid driver’s license at all times, and ability to travel to jobsites.
- Perform additional assignments per Senior Management’s direction.
- Other duties will be assigned as required.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience
- A solid understanding of all construction trades and construction techniques
- Strong management, delegation, planning and leadership skills.
- Effectiveness in the areas of construction safety and productivity
- Commitment to working in a team environment, with established team building abilities.
- Strong communication, leadership, integration, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Superior leadership qualities with a demonstrated track record of dealing successfully with internal and external clients.
- Results-oriented individual with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and timelines.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft computer software (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.) and outlook
- Must Possess a valid driver’s license at all times, and ability to travel to jobsites.

Pay: $90,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
