Pet Groomer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Professional Pet Groomer to join our team. Must have pet grooming experience from other pet grooming salons.

As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who love working with animals and have a talent for grooming.

**Duties**:

- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, and ear cleaning for various breeds of dogs and cats
- Assess the condition of pets' coats, skin.
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety throughout the grooming process
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests and preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- Monitor pets for any signs of discomfort or health issues during the grooming process
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing pet owners' questions and concerns

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or completion of a formal grooming program is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of different breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (e.g., lifting larger dogs onto grooming tables)
- Patience and compassion towards animals in order to create a calm and positive grooming experience
- hand stripping is a bonus

Pay: $800.00-$1,500.00 per week
