We’re looking for energetic, dog-loving individuals to help create a fun, safe, and tail-wagging good time for our furry guests at our doggy daycare and boarding facility in the Kingsway area. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, supervising pack interactions, or just making sure each dog gets the love and attention they deserve, our Canine Coaches are the heart and soul of Tailz.

**What’s the Job About?**

As a **Canine Coach**, you’ll be leading the pack in our playrooms (both indoors and outdoors) while making sure every dog has a blast and stays safe. You’ll be the go-to guide for ensuring positive play and happy tails, using your knowledge of dog behavior (we’ll teach you) and keeping the energy high in our fast-paced environment.

If you’re a natural leader with a love for dogs of all shapes and sizes (no breed is too big or too small), have a knack for decision-making, and are cool under pressure, this is the job for you

**The Details**
- **Position**: Part-time Canine Coach (10-25 hours per week)
- **Age Requirement**: 18+ (sorry, pups need a responsible leader)
- **Availability**: Weekends and holidays a must, plus the ability to commit to 3-5 shifts a week (20+ hours/week).
- **Physical Requirements**: Be ready for some action - walking, running, lifting up to 60 lbs, and lots of cleaning (our playrooms stay spotless).
- **Skills**: No experience? No problem We’ll teach you everything you need to know about dog behavior, safety, and positive reinforcement handling. But we do love someone who’s a quick learner, reliable, and ready to bring some energy to the pack.
- **Dog Handling**: We’ll get you up to speed with dog body language, how to manage group play, and how to de-escalate any playdate drama.

**Requirements**:

- Must love dogs (this is a given)
- Ability to handle the hustle and bustle of a loud, active environment
- High-energy, positive attitude, and a sense of humor
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (we love seeing our Canine Coaches interact with our clients and pups positively)
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with calmness and professionalism

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.75-$16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 25 per week
