Toronto, Canada Photographers Without Borders (PWB) Full time

Photographers Without Borders is looking for Board Members in Canada or the US for our Canadian and American Board of Directors.

**We are looking for**:

- Someone whose personal goals align with our goals.
- Someone who wants to put their business/grant writing/fundraising background to good use in a non-profit environment, or wants to gain experience in these areas.
- Someone who is great at building and maintaining relationships.
- Someone who is very well-organized and great at communicating online and over zoom.
- Professional, adaptive, and responsible.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in fundraising, sponsorship and partnership development.
- Your values align with our values.
- Non-Profit / Charity Management experience.
- Experience in Senior Level Management and Business Development.
- Ability to commit to fundraising / donation goal of $5000 per year.
- Commitment to and alignment with PWB’s Mission, Vision and Values.

**As a Board Member, you will be responsible for**:

- Preparing for and attending mandatory quarterly Board Meetings and Annual General Meeting. Chair to prepare meeting agendas.
- Serving as an advocate for the organization and engage in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for the organization to advance its mission.
- Leveraging connections, networks, and resources to help grow the organization’s capacity and enhance PWB’s public image.
- Approving and monitoring the organization’s programs and services.
- Identifying prospective board members, help recruit and facilitate their onboarding.
- Reviewing and monitoring operational policies, strategic plans and financial reports.
- Participating in the approval of the annual budget.
- Evaluating the performance of the Chief Executive Officer.
- Raising $5000 CAD or more in each fiscal year in donation to PWB.
- Commitment to PWB’s Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan.

**Time Commitment**:

- Volunteer position.
- Approximately 10-15 hours per week.
- Must attend mandatory weekly meetings each Wednesday at 6:45pm.
