Payroll/ Accounts Payable Clerk

KPCL is looking for a self-motivated, organized and conscientious person who pays attention to detail and is willing to follow directions accurately for a position within our administrative and payroll team in Estevan, SK.
Key duties and responsibilities:
A. Actively participating, promoting and engaging others in a culture of safety;
B. Communicating information clearly and effectively to all co-workers, and listening and carrying out instructions diligently, asking for clarification if needed;
C. Collecting, reconciling and entering data from daily work records in HCSS Heavy Job and Explorer Eclipse accounting software program;
D. Maintaining and tracking other data on spreadsheets and as necessary entering in accounting software program, including but not limited to meal and travel allowances, benefits, etc.;
E. Supporting payroll manager to reconcile and process bi-weekly pay periods;
F. Running errands regularly, which may involve but is not limited to picking up mail, maintaining inventory of office supplies and ordering/ picking up as necessary, and bank deposits;
G. Answering and directing phone calls as necessary;
H. Making accommodation arrangements for various projects and checking employees in/out of local camp;
I. Supporting account payable and payroll departments with other duties that may be assigned from time to time;
J. Completing other relevant duties as requested;
