Scotia Wealth Management Private Banking offers strategic borrowing solutions and customized personal banking support for high-net worth clients. Private Bankers provide the highest level of personalized and attentive service, helping clients meet their financial goals. **Is this program right for you? In this role, you will**: The Wealth Management Associate Program is a 5-month salaried program. The Private Banking Associate role is aimed at developing sales and entrepreneurial-minded individuals who are looking for a career in credit-focused Banking. The program focuses on building core credit underwriting and relationship management skills. **Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We’d love to work with you if**: - You're completing a undergraduate or master’s degree by June 2025, or you have work experience in building client relationships and providing financial advice. - You have completed a course of study that will enable registration with the appropriate provincial securities commission to obtain a license to sell mutual funds (_requirement to obtain license will be determined on a case-by-case basis and will be dependent on business need in the Region of hire_). - You aspire to build a career as a personal Banker. - You’re a curious, critical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with others. - You have a sales and relationship focused mindset. - You can demonstrate an ability to influence, persuade and build consensus as well as the ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing. - You’re flexible and thrive fast paced environments. - You have strong organization and time management skills and enjoy working in both team and independent settings. - You value feedback and actively seek out opportunities for self-development. **What’s in it for you?** - A comprehensive training program that provides opportunities for you to gain a thorough understanding of Scotiabank’s Private Banking and Wealth Advisory businesses. - A path to completing the Certified Financial Planning Certification. - Placement in a Scotiabank Wealth Management Private Banking office and the opportunity to work with a Private Banking team to gain relevant and practical experience. - A training curriculum to support you in preparing for a client-facing role in Private Banking. - Ongoing support during the program through various touch points with the Program Lead, Wealth leaders, and your local Manager. - A compensation program with competitive salary, opportunities for annual performance incentives based on performance thresholds, a flexible benefits program and continuing education programs. **How do I apply?** **Please complete all three steps below**: - Complete your PLUM Profile **here** and save as a screenshot. - Complete a short one-way video interview **here**.**: - To be considered for student opportunities at Scotiabank, Tangerine, and MD Financial you must complete _**_all three_**_ steps above._ Location(s): Canada : Ontario : London (ON) || Canada : Ontario : Burlington || Canada : Ontario : Hamilton || Canada : Ontario : Oakville Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
