**Responsibilities**:
- Develop or comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to meet business needs.
- Analyze and propose transportation approaches considering intermodal/cross-docking alternatives when available and acceptable.
- Train, develop, and supervise onshore logistics staff delegating work as required.
- Make shipping plan/schedule and organize trucking resources based on shipping requests.
- Carry out continuous improvement in transportation process and route optimization.
- Arrange for shipping documentation and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
- Ensure transport compliance with regulations. Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and temporary storage of goods.
- Manage department's performance, prepare reports for senior management, and plan for changes to schedules and policies.
- Negotiate for services and rates.
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
- Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
**Requirements**:
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 3+ years relevant experience
- Proficient in Mandarin.
- Designations/certifications related to transportation.
- Hours: Flexible
**Salary**: $68,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
