WAYFINDER CORP was established in 2015, and has since grown to include two transloading facilities, one regional mine and a sand separating company. We are a privately held, Alberta-based company that provides total proppant management for oil and gas E&P companies.

**POSITION PURPOSE**:
This is a key role with responsibility for the smooth operation of a process plant and accountable for responding accordingly to minimize NPT. The demonstrated ability to collect data, interpret readings, optimum production volumes and quality, efficient results and troubleshoot operational situations from deviations in standard operating procedures where instruments, equipment or control alarms.

**JOB RESPONSIBLITIES AND TASKS**:
**Operations**

Operate equipment/facility safely and effectively for production processing.
- Continuously inspect, identify, and maintain all instruments and functions to ensure operating with in parameters. Ex. Reading manufacture manuals, facility designs, control narratives.
- Responsible for safe and efficient Start-up operation and shut down processes as per Wayfinder Standard Operating Practices
- Make informed decisions on running the dry plant ie) start up, shut down, increased/decreased temperatures and moisture, manage feed rate, product concentration, surge tank and proportional valves and lost product on overs conveyors
- Knowledge and understanding of Ignition software, reporting and graph functions for dry plant operation.
- Assist other team members on their assigned responsibilities.
- Communicate through two-way radios with team members for operational checks and issues.
- Support Production Leads to maximize efficiency and minimize Non-Production Time.
- Direct, perform and document Rotex’s screen changes, hose configuration, and screen configurations to maximize production results and utilize proportional valves to maximize life expectancy of screens.
- Maintain the work area clean, safe, and organized.
- Follow and understand Wayfinder Procedures and Policies
- Report to Production Lead if any parts, materials, or equipment is needed to maintain operations.
- Cross shift and communicate with the following Dry Plant Control Operator to ensure consistent operations continue during and after shift change.
- Responsible for completing accurate Dry Plant documents ie) Rotex Screen Inspections, Inventories, Shift Notes, Quality Documents and Down time reasoning document.
- Identify problems with product samples and make informed decisions on how to rectify immediately. Ex., excessive feed rate, repeated hole in screen, overloading, this could be a sign of proportional valves not being managed.

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

**Experience**:

- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred)
- PLANT OPERATION: 1 year (preferred)
