QA Supervisor

As the Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the QA technicians and overseeing daily operations in conjunction with the QA lead. You will ensure compliance with BRC Global Standard, HACCP, Safe Food for Canadians, and other relevant legislation, including developing documentation, implementing system elements, and conducting staff training (as needed) in conjunction with the Senior Quality Manager.

You will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating activities related to food safety and quality objectives, internal audits, validation trials, and mock recalls. You will conduct ongoing training with staff, manage the facilities' environmental monitoring/food safety program, and perform data trends analysis using statistical tools. You will report your findings to the senior management team and maintain professional interactions with auditors, regulatory agencies, vendors, and customers.

In addition, you will prepare and actively participate in internal and third-party audits and assist in follow-up of corrective actions from the audit findings. You will maintain professional interaction with auditors, regulatory agencies, vendors, and customers and act as a deputy for the Senior Quality Manager in the event of their absence. Other quality assurance duties will be assigned as needed.
