Corem, an expertise and innovation center in ore processing, has the largest concentration of resources dedicated to R&D in this field in Canada. **Researcher**

As a researcher in communition, you will have to carry out projects on development and optimization of processes and innovative technologies in crushing, grinding and regrinding, grinding measurement, etc.

**More specifically**
- Carry out, design, develop and optimize processes;
- Carry out studies and research projects to solve issues related to already existing processes;
- Participate in the development, the adaptation and the implementation in plant of innovations related to existing processes, such as improved operation modes and process flow sheets, new equipment and on-line measurement tools;
- Perform all tasks related to the realization of research projects within multidisciplinary teams: analysis of the client’s needs, identification of the technological challenges and the expected benefits, find and implement solutions;
- Write technical reports and present results to Corem’s members and clients.

**Requirements**:

- Hold a bachelor or a masters degree in science or engineering (material engineering, metallurgical engineering, geologic engineering, chemical engineering, etc.);
- Knowledge about thermal processes will be considered an asset;
- Knowledge of Matlab and FactSage software will be considered an asse;
- Have skills and know some techniques in R&D project management: propose work schedules, control budget and schedules, write progress reports and supervise teams.

- Strong skills to solve problems, rigor and good synthesis ability;
- Skill to vulgarize a complex technical text;
