In the summer this job is very demanding but can make an individual a lot of income if they are motivated. To succeed in this work, a technician must be willing to work extra time when required, if you like making money this career will be perfect for you. **A large portion of this position requires the ability to disassemble a variety of appliances, devices, or systems, and successfully reassemble them.** Many of these items are electronic, delicate, valuable, and require precision. If you are good with your hands this is the trade for you. **Critical Skills and Knowledge**: 12v automotive electrical systems 120v basic household electrical Stereos, Bluetooth, TV's, Satellite Systems, other touchscreen devices Sinks, Taps, Toilet Repair, Water Heaters, Water Pumps, PEX Fittings, Showers Sewer Tank Repair, ABS pipe, Sewer Valves, Drain Hoses, P-Traps, other plumbing devices Propane tanks,Gas Regulators, Gas pipe, Furnaces, Stoves, BBQ's Silicone, Sealants, Window Leaks, Exterior Trim and Moldings for Weather and Waterproofing Rubber roof repairs, Skylight and roof vent replacement - individual must be comfortable working with heights of up to 15 feet. Carpet, Linoleum, Laminate, Vinyl Planking, and other flooring types. Gears, Hydraulic systems, Cable and Pulley systems, Actuators, Electric Motors, Slide-out systems Basic cabinetry and carpentry Basic automotive mechanics understanding **Class 5 License Required. **Must have vehicle to commute. Experience backing up/moving trailers and large vehicles an asset. RV's, Campers, Motor-homes have a bit of everything, and thus requires knowledge and learning in all fields. **Physical Requirements**: Working in the shop is physically demanding; **good fitness, stamina and strength are vital assets.** It will be necessary to climb up and down ladders repeatedly, occasionally lift up to 100lbs, and regularly manipulate heavy items such as batteries, propane tanks and equalizer hitches. Reaching into tight spaces and compartments as well as laying under RV's and vehicles will be routine. RV's are large vehicles and require a considerable amount of walking to get around and complete tasks. No Experience Necessary, we are looking for attitude, motivation, diligence and drive **Starting Wage for entry level is $18.00.** **Wages for Experienced Technicians will be negotiated.** **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time **Salary**: From $18.00 per hour Additional pay: - Overtime pay Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 12 hour shift - 8 hour shift Application question(s): - Are you able to work more than 8 hours a day on short notice?
