Club Inclusion is currently looking for enthusiastic, versatile and dedicated professionals. We have a variety of positions available, starting with back
- up and support roles. New staff can move quickly to full time and part time contract positions of suitable and interested.

Although the normal work week is Monday to Friday, we offer programming 7 days a week that can work around your schedule.

For success in this role you will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be self
- motivated, organized and someone who is a strong advocate for persons with disabilities.

Working at Club Inclusion you may help with a specific project (such as the Theatre Production, Music Therapy, Mentors for Mental Health, etc.) or generally across all programs (assisting with the Day Program or Drop In Club).

Employees generally work as part of an inclusive and fun staff team, but may also work one on one at times with members

What you will do in this role?

Collaborate with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities to better understand their wants, needs and identify any obstacles & barriers

Help participants engage in inclusive programming

Help design and run inclusive programs

Accompany participants in various community outreach and recreational opportunities

Support persons with an intellectual disability to achieve success in their endeavors within an existing program

Provide one on one support and/or personal care to persons with complex needs

Provide on-site coaching for a participant who may be volunteering or performing a paid position to ensure successful integration into the worksite

Maintain detailed files of progress

What do you need to be a successful applicant?

Post-secondary education in human services or related field OR a combination of experience and education

Awesome interpersonal, communication and time management skills

Attributes such as patience, adaptability, resilience and a passion to learn and share knowledge

Knowledge of ways to support persons with intellectual and complex disabilities

Excellent presentations skills which you adapt to fit a wide range of audience from participants to employers

Strong organizational skills including time management and record keeping

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
