VG Meats is looking for a Retail Sales Team Member in Stoney Creek, ON

The Retail Sales Team Member is responsible for all sales activities and sales associate job duties; greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions and providing product information. Develop your ESSENTIAL SERVICE CAREER with VG Meats

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate outstanding customer service and selling skills
- Stock and display merchandise
- Track and maintain store and freezer inventory
- Regularly sanitize the work areas
- Process payments
- Develop product knowledge and stay current with promotional events and sales
- Assist with picking and shipping wholesale customer orders

Requirements/Qualifications:

- Exceptional customer service skills (enthusiastic, friendly, energetic & mature)
- Availability to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and/or possesses prior knowledge of meat cuts
- Reliable transportation and attendance dependability
- Physical demands: constant moving, talking and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
- It May involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders
