Marketing Manager, Td Place

TD Place is Ottawa’s central gathering place for all things sports, events, and entertainment. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG) are seeking a Marketing Manager, TD Place to develop and implement the marcomm plan including content, media, social media and communications functions for major events, concerts and other activities taking place on site. This role will be charged with using data and analytics to create and leverage communication and multi-platform content to increase the number of guests and help to generate repeat visitation.

**_ What you’ll do:_**
- Lead in the execution of multi-platform campaigns and collateral that drives awareness and demand for TD Place, Lansdowne, and Ottawa Christmas Market;
- Manage all day-to-day marketing activities and campaigns;
- Drive the fan/guest marketing outreach process, working with local communities and internal teams to drive ticket sales and interest;
- Drive the strategy on traditional social media and emerging platforms for TD Place, Lansdowne, and Ottawa Christmas Market;
- Manage and program marketing assets for digital and physical signage to generate event awareness;
- Liaise with all incoming concert and event promoters, as the marketing point of contact, to collect all needed creative and content for announcements, pre-sales, and on-sales;
- Coordinate with Digital Marketing on strategy in supporting internal stakeholders such as TD Place, OSEG Foundation, OSEG brand & recruitment, Lansdowne, and Ottawa Christmas Market;
- Ongoing management of the content calendar for the TD Place, Lansdowne, and Ottawa Christmas Market platforms;
- Generate photo, video, and story ideas to entertain, inform and drive engagement across a wide variety of social media accounts related to the TD Place, Lansdowne, and Ottawa Christmas Market brands;
- Create and drive an earned media strategy for TD Place, Lansdowne, and the Ottawa Christmas Market;
- Monitor and track social media KPIs, providing reports, as well as findings, to key stakeholders to continuously improve overall performance;
- Act as the marketing liaison to a creative agency, the Glebe BIA, Lansdowne retailers, event promoters, and key media personnel;
- Stay on top of emerging marketing trends and best practices, and appropriately integrate new opportunities into the brands’ marketing plans for TD Place, Lansdowne, and Ottawa Christmas Market.

**_ What’s needed:_**
- Completion of post-secondary education in marketing, communications or related field;
- 3-5 years of progressive experience within a fast-paced event, entertainment, or live production environment;
- Experience building and executing entertainment marketing strategies and campaigns;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite Practical experience with video production, graphics, and photography required;
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills, including attention to detail, and a strong handle on grammar, punctuation, and voice;
- Must be able to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles;
- Understanding of analytics software, content management systems, and SEO tools;
- Experience building budgets and managing expenses;
- Must be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays;
- Bilingualism in English & French is an asset.
