**Retail Store Manager - Job Description**

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a results-driven and experienced **Retail Manager** to oversee the daily operations of our fashion boutique, Trendy Nisa. Our modest wear boutique store started in May 2018. It is an emerging and vibrant family business with a small team of three to four employees. We take pride in our collection of designer clothing from Turkey and Middle East, offering exceptional styles and quality at competitive prices.

The retail manager will be responsible for every aspect of the day-to-day operations and supervision of the store, including sales, staff, stock and resources management; working closely with the owner to ensure adherence to policies and protocol.

**Responsibilities**:
Retail management will involve taking responsibility for the successful running of the store. Working on the shop floor, the manager is in constant contact with the customers and staff, and will be responsible for ensuring that staff give great customer service along with monitoring the financial performance of the store to boost revenues and develop the business.

**Duties will include**:

- Developing store strategies to raise customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Dealing with customer queries and complaints
- Maintaining positive relationship with vendors, suppliers and consumers
- Planning the schedule and managing employees effectively to ensure policies are followed
- Maximizing profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including mentoring and motivating staff to do so
- Maintaining statistical and financial records
- Overseeing pricing and stock control
- Analyzing sales and revenue reports and making forecasts
- Coordinating changes, product line extension, or new product launches
- Preparing promotional materials and displays
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- Liaising with the owner.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion/Merchandising, Communications, Business/Marketing, Sales or Retail Management
- Two to three years of experience as a supervisor, manager, or similar relevant position is required with knowledge of retail management best practices
- Additional certifications related to retail or customer service are an advantage
