Position Overview
Conducts and processes all clerical tasks related to the patient's period of hospitalization within the unit/ program area in collaboration with the patient care team members.
Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience as Unit Clerk.
Minimum 2 years' experience in Microsoft office (excel, word, etc.).
Electronic Kidney Health Record and Electronic Patient Record experience preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Grade 12, minimum.
Completion of a recognized Unit Clerk course required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
Not Applicable
Qualifications and Skills
Written and verbal command of the English Language essential.
Good communication skills essential.
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships within a team environment essential.
Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple tasks.
