Description
Village Juicery is Toronto’s leading manufacturer and retailer of fresh, organic juices and plant-based foods. We have 15 stores in Toronto and over 400 wholesale partners across the GTA. Our mission is to improve the health of our community by increasing access to plant-based nutrition. Our team of 160+ people is growing fast, and looking for more motivated people to join our industry.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Work with our production team in our factory kitchen
- Ensuring the products are oven baked properly
- Decorating Bakery items
- Prepare and organize packaging for our orders, maintain order sheets to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Clean the work area and manage the waste (includes helping to clean equipment, dish washing or cleaning our production area)
- Keep a close eye on any team issue or assembly line problems and take proactive measures to resolve them
- Be a positive, fun and safe member of the team
- Adhere to our quality, health & safety and food safety policies and procedures

**Qualification**
- Dedicated and hardworking attitude ready to roll up your sleeves
- Detail oriented along with attention to detail will be a key asset
- Have the Ability to Multi Task
- Preferred 1-5 years experience in factory or food production along with team management experience
- Able to lift 40 lbs. comfortably and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Fluent in English and a good communicator
**Compensation**

- Salary: $17.20-$19.00 (including bonus & gratuities).
- Employee discount of 25% on food items
**Shift Timing and Schedule**:
- Day Shift - 9am to 5pm
- Full time.
- Sunday is a Must

Compensation
$17.20 - $19.00 per hour
