Pharmacy Technician

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide medication administration support under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication instructions and patient care.
- Perform routine clerical tasks such as answering phones, processing prescriptions, and managing billing inquiries.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area to promote a safe working environment.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques and practices.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations.
- Experience working in a hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while providing exceptional patient care.
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
