**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Perform audits as necessary to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in tax filings
- Assist clients with accounts payable and account reconciliation processes
- Provide bookkeeping support, including payroll processing and budgeting assistance
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant tools for efficient tax preparation
- Offer investment advice related to tax implications and strategies for clients
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed guidance

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Tax Professional or in a similar role within financial services
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and others
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting
- Familiarity with auditing processes and techniques
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
