- Understands that results are driven by our people, and is highly skilled at performance-based coaching/management, and training needs analysis
- Is a self-starter, strong negotiator, and seeks to proactively solve problems
- Can communicate well with all employees ranging from front line staff to senior management
- Is able to quickly analyze, grasp and disseminate new processes and procedures
- Has 3-5 years of leadership experience in call centers (preference given to collections and/or compliance experience)
- Is detail oriented and can ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment

**What the role entails**:
Your role is primarily to drive results. This is done in a variety of ways including but not limited to:

- Lead, train, motivate, and mentor Debt Counsellors effectively and professionally
- Complete performance audits, and coach to results
- Ensure compliance with company and client directives at all times
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process when necessary
- Handle and de-escalate complaints
- Engage with our clients to discuss performance and remedial action where required
- Critically examine processes and offer insights for improvement
- Keep manuals, reports and administrative components accurate and up to date
