We are currently seeking an experienced hot shot / pilot driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting urgent and time sensitive freight to various destinations. You will operate a light duty truck and trailer or similar vehicle to deliver small to medium sized shipments quickly and efficiently. Your attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction will be key in ensuring timely deliveries.

** MUST be local to the Grande Prairie area **

Qualifications:

- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment testing
- Possess a valid Class 4 or Class 5 Drivers licence, with clean abstract.
- Proven experience in oilfield hauling and operating a dually truck with gooseneck trailer.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to load and offload materials
- Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions

**Responsibilities**:

- Comply with all safety regulations and JDA company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the general public.
- Safely and efficiently transport freight to locations
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to meet deadlines
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure road worthiness
- Load and unload cargo securely and handle shipments with care
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.

Certifications & Training:

- Valid First Aid
- Valid H2S Alive
- Valid CSO
- Be certified in ODA or equivalent for defensive driving (preferred, but will train)
- Be certified in Hours of Service and Fatigue Management (preferred, but will train)
