**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry. As an Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, learning the essential skills needed to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a dealership environment. Your passion for mechanics and eagerness to learn will be key to your success in this role.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Learn to read and interpret automotive schematics and diagrams.
- Support technicians in diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing repairs.
- Participate in heavy lifting and moving of automotive parts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Gain knowledge in welding techniques as applicable to automotive repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.

**Qualifications**
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience is preferred; formal training is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in automotive repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
- A strong interest in automotive repair and mechanics with a desire to learn.
- Understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a dealership setting is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $30.40-$34.20 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
