This role is located in Greenwood, NS, Canada. **This Role**: You will be expected to perform complex but standard software integration tasks including testing, investigation, and maintenance work on a wide variety of technologies, including virtualization and distributed simulation. Some design work and bug fixing may also be required **Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**: - Responsible for software configuration management, as part of a team - Lead and offer technical support during integration of new and updated simulator components - Identify and actively participate in solving software problems, providing the necessary feedback to the development team - Ensure proper simulator operation, including maintenance and verification activities - Define, manage and provide advice on site integration priorities - Implement minor to moderately complex corrections to identified problems - Support our DND customer during acceptance of simulator updates - Occasional shift work and travel will be required **Your Profile**: - Engineering or Computer Science degree combined with minimum of 3 years technical experience in simulation, avionics or a related field - Knowledge of networking, PC hardware and the Windows operating system - Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in technology and task priorities - Ability to independently troubleshoot software integration in a system-of-systems architecture - Flexible approach with strong ownership of tasks/projects - Results-oriented, self-motivated, dynamic team player, ability to work unsupervised - Excellent communication skills, English essential - Eligible to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit - Capable of obtaining and maintaining Controlled Goods and Secret security clearances **We offer you**: - Flexible Vacation Policy - Autonomy within a responsible position with a high visibility - A supportive, dynamic team and a friendly corporate culture - Excellent global career opportunities within an international, growth-oriented company - A wide range of services for your health and personal well-being, with a company benefits plan, pension and stock purchase plans LI-MC1 **Position Type** Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
