Maibec CanExel, a division of Maibec Inc. Our East River facility, just outside of Hubbards, Nova Scotia, is home to approximately 165 dedicated employees.

**Location**: Conveniently located 1 minute off Exit 7 from Highway 103, Maibec CanExel is an easy 30-minute commute from both Bayers Lake and Bridgewater.

**Starting Pay**: We offer competitive wages starting at **$21.58/hr**. With training, you could earn up to **$25.94/hr** in your first year and up to **$32.43/hr** by the end of your second year. A **shift premium of $1.25/hr** is available for night shifts.

**Key Responsibilities**: As a General Operator/Labourer, you will be trained to perform a variety of tasks, such as:

- Operating equipment
- Equipment cleaning
- Fire watch
- Product sorting
- General cleaning

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to work flexible shifts (8-hour, 12-hour shifts, days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Previous experience in an industrial setting is a plus
- Forklift or heavy equipment operation experience is an asset
- Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment medical testing is required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.58 per hour
