Sooke Oceanside Brewery is seeking a Logistics Coordinator / Order Desk to join our brew-loving team in Sooke, BC. This is a permanent, full-time role.
The Logistics Coordinator / Order Desk is responsible for coordinating all logistics between the Production Team, Sales Team, and distribution of products. This will include stock replenishment, inventory level management, order execution, and receiving wholesale orders and invoicing. Integrity, adept, receptive, and great communication skills are essential for this role.
**Compensation**
- $22 per hour
**Job Duties**
- Coordinating deliveries and communication between Production and Sales teams.
- Provide weekly government reports.
- Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
- Maintain accurate records, including monthly inventory input and adjustments, expense reimbursement forms, accounts receivable, and other documentation.
- Thoroughly review orders and make recommendations to adjust as appropriate.
- Communicate regularly with supply chain, distribution, and sales regarding order changes, service failures, or complaints.
- Enter, track, and provide monthly updates.
- Assist with reporting of daily / weekly customer service metrics.
- Support adherence to quality and safety standards as required.
- Perform other related duties as required.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1-3 years in inventory management or a related role.
- Post-secondary education in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or related field, would be considered an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates effective relationship building capability and the ability to influence.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to support and project values compatible with the organization.
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.

Sooke Oceanside Brewery was born and bred out of the desire to bring the love of craft beer to our west coast community of Sooke, British Columbia.
The brewery was founded by Ryan Orr after an idea was born during a successful career as an executive chef. His downtime and passions were entertained in his garage - brewing beer. Dam good beer. The family began to grow. Priorities began to evolve. Ryan wanted to create an exceptional beer, to build a local craft brewery and introduce others to a phenomenal beer experience they have never seen before.
