We’re looking for a **Warehouse Associate** with a roll-up-your-sleeves, “get it done” attitude to work out of our **Red Deer **Distribution Centre.

**A little about what you’ll do**:

- Moving, lifting, picking, packing, shipping and receiving (say that five times fast) in a friendly, clean and fast-paced environment
- Work with user-friendly equipment and technology
- You’ll need to lift and carry heavy merchandise on a regular basis
- Keep things moving, efficiently and accurately
- Stay on top of safe material handling procedures and techniques
- Must be comfortable working on ladders and heights
- Loading and Unloading freight from courier’s / freight carriers
- Verify correct incoming paperwork (bills of lading, packing slips, etc.)
- Operate mechanical equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, lift trucks, etc.)
- Communicate with Purchasing and Customer Service Departments concerning any product issues (discrepancies, damaged product, C.O.D. Shipments, etc.)
- Lock and unlock receiving doors as required and prepare receiving area
- Schedule delivery of freight with trucking companies
- Restock shelves with received freight
- Daily communication with Warehouse Manager as well as E-commerce Fulfillment & Customer Service Lead on order volume and allocation of staff
- Using RF scanning guns to track inventory
- Operate computer & inventory system for order fulfillment and tracking
- Familiarity of Chaters.ca navigation categories and promos
- Manage pick-pack-ship operations to ensure all customer orders are shipped out accurately and on time (same-day when applicable)
- Using bailer and compactor
- Clean up and keep tidy as you work
- Keep things moving, efficiently and accurately
- Follow all safety guidelines, policies and procedures
- All other associated tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

- Some experience in a warehouse setting would be great, but we’ll provide training if you’re the right fit
