**Upholstered Frame Maker**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Cut frame parts to size as specified by provided drawings.
- Assemble wood components using pneumatic and hand tools.
- Work with plant designer and supervisor to ensure orders are cut according to daily production schedule.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and layouts.
- Perform cleaning duties as required to help maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Inspect, maintain and fix shop equipment.

**Requirements**:

- In-person production experience with general wood working
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain and promote a positive attitude, teamwork and cooperation.
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs. with or without help.

**Qualifications**
- Work experience in general wood working, upholstery or cabinetry industry is considered an asset.
- Experience with basic woodworking tools and machines.
- Organized with excellent time management, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read technical specifications and documentation.
- Able to communicate effectively in English; work well with others as well as independently.

**Experience**
- General Wood Working: 1-2 years (preferred)
