Order Picker/shipper Receiver

Saint Germain Bakery is a busy Asian-style bakery originating from Vancouver. Our pastry chefs incorporate many different styles of buns, breads, cakes and other treats into our daily menu. As an Order Picker/Receiver, you will be responsible for helping delivery drivers offload supplies into our store and organizing the items we receive. As well you will be required to pick and pack orders for our retail stores on a daily basis. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Will be required to work in the freezer with temperature of about -18*C. Some protective gear will be provided. Preference will be given to those with previous experience and who can speak both Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) and English. Must have valid SIN number.
Responsibilities include:
- Receive shipments, check for damages and organize stock in the store
- Monitor shelves and fill them in when needed
- Read through order forms and pick the items needed
- Pack items to be shipped out to other stores
- Organize all warehouse areas including freezer, dry storage, etc.
- Assisting other departments when needed
- Communicating with coworkers and management
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
