We’re looking to enhance our team by welcoming two new Warehouse Material Handlers to the Warehouse team, reporting to the Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Warehouse Material Handler is also responsible for selecting and delivering raw materials to and retrieving finished goods from production and for ensuring transactions are accurately captured and documented in the ERP system.
**The role**:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, you will provide the following key responsibilities:
- Pick raw materials based on ingredient list provided, accurately and in the most efficient manner
- Deliver raw materials to production in a timely manner and work collaboratively with production staff to quickly resolve any discrepancies
- Lifting - raw materials and finished products
- Loading - Efficiently move product from staging and/ or storage areas into trailers
- Inventory - keep appropriate records and reports, prepare cycle counts, follow FIFO and ensure proper stock rotation
- Track inventory using Sage X3 ERP system either through terminal entry or using hand held scanning methods
- Receiving/put-away - Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations; efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas
- Quality - Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage, report quality variances
- Order picking - Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped; perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets operational standards
- Safety, Sanitation, Security - Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area; assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse; conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Accountable for the safe & efficient operation of the vehicle
- Should be able to drive a 20-Foot-long truck from one facility to the other in order to transfer materials.

**You offer**:
- 1- 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a food production facility.
- Valid forklift license - forklift license must be current and recognized in Ontario.
- Valid Driver’s license (G)
- Completion of high school - read, write speak English
- Experience operating Sage X3 or equivalent Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Having knowledge of warehouse inventory and warehouse maintenance methodology
- Having knowledge of safety measures needed for this job function
- Must be available for rotating shifts, occasional overtime, and weekend work as needed
- Ability to work unsupervised and/or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to problem-solve under pressure.

**Working Conditions**:
- Work in a fast-paced food production environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals, machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Physical demands include standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasionally working in confined spaces.
- Compliance with PPE requirements, including gloves, masks, and protective clothing.
