**About the position**

The position of the photographer/video editor will be part of the XWG Entertainment team and work closely with the operation team in Canada. The role will be responsible for creating visually stunning and engaging content. This includes capturing and creating digital assets such as photographs, videos, and animations that are used to promote and market entertainment experiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Helping in the planning process, managing, and creating multiple forms of images and videos (IG reels, Youtube shorts, etc.) that accurately depict the web3 entertainment experience to the potential audiences.
- Utilizing advanced editing and retouching techniques to enhance the quality of images and videos.
- Setting up necessary lighting and media composition to produce as visually-engaging content as possible.
- Follow XWG’s branding guidelines and web3 entertainment experience requirements to ensure consistent visual concepts, including the colours, mood, and tone of each media produced across social media channels.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, news, and developments in the web3 entertainment/ gaming industry as well as keeping up with the real-time viral trends on social media.
- Working closely with the marketing team to ensure the smooth flow of the content schedule execution.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1+ years experience in photography and video production & editing
- Proficient in photo editing and video editing software such as Photoshop, Final Cut, etc.
- Being creative and able to come up with fresh content ideas
- Comfortable with meetings in global timezone and fast-paced startup environment
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to handle conflict and carry out teamwork
- Familiar with social network channels (especially Instagram and TikTok) plus team collaboration tools such as Telegram, Notion, and others

**Good to have**:

- ACG-Lover (Animation, Comics, and Games)
- Basic knowledge with gaming and WEB3 industries
- Having own camera, lighting, and audio equipment
- Having own vehicle and a valid BC Class 5 driver's license
- Bilingual, fluent in both English and Mandarin for global team communication
