**Job Details**:

- Job Position: AZ Flatbed Driver with Lift Truck - CITY
- Location: 400 McNeilly Road, Stoney Creek, ON.
- Hourly Wage: $30-31 for an experienced flatbed driver with a forklift (preferably moffett experience).
- Benefits: Company-paid group medical, dental, and insurance.
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,000

**Job Duties**:

- Truck Drivers will operate a truck and trailer and occasionally straight trucks to transport and deliver goods to construction sites and pick up materials as required.
- May be required to load and unload the truck. Drivers may be required to use automated routing equipment.
- Responsible for compliance with hours of service (logs), cargo securement, weights and dimensions, and vehicle inspections.
- Inspect vehicles, equipment, and load at the start of the day, en route, and after delivery, to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order (circle check).
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from the loading crew as needed; check that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.
- Report vehicle defects, repair requirements, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
- Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, e-logs, and cell phones to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
- Record and maintain required documentation including driver logbook, bills of lading, etc. by manual or electronic means.
- Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form.
- Clean up any debris caused by the loading/unloading of the truck.
- Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems.
- Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. This may include but are not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections, hours of service, etc.

**Requirements**:

- AZ driver's license with a **minimum of 3 years experience**.
- Lift truck experience. (Moffett preferred but will train on Moffett if required).
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Computer Literate.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines, and time management techniques.
- Strong work ethic and personal integrity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work under mínimal supervision.

**Work Conditions**:

- Travel required within Ontario.
- Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors.
- E-logs (training provided)
- Able to work overtime as required (Weekend work may be required on occasion).
- Ability to lift 100 pounds with assistance.
