**General job description**

The Gas Fitter will work within the Maintenance Team to maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and install plant equipment.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance tasks;
- Ensure process systems are operating within capacity;
- Provide contractors with technical support
- Work with Plant Operators to adjust process and test equipment;
- Provide technical support to Operators and Management;
- Install and maintain equipment as needed;
- Oversee repair and maintenance activities for gas equipment
- Respond to afterhours emergencies

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Minimum two years experience in maintenance environment
- Current and up to date Gasfitter B/A license required
- Experience with Gas equipment (blowers, fans, relief valves, pressure vessels), HVAC, electric motors, VFD’s and general mechanical would be an asset
- Pipefitting would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of provincial legislation and regulation including the Occupational Health and Safety Act (e.g., Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, First Aid, etc.)
