**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Manager, Total Rewards & HR Systems; this position is responsible for ensuring data integrity of our employee data, analyzing labour related information, and providing on-going support and maintenance of the Town’s Human Resources (HRIS) system and compensation program. This position is responsible for offering guidance, support, and direction to various Town departments to enhance the use of the HRIS system to leverage its functionality to gain efficiencies in business processes and/or greater insight into information. This position provides excellent customer service while protecting the integrity of the data, automating business processes, participating in major system upgrades and trouble shooting incidents.

As the HRIS and Compensation Analyst you will perform the following duties, including but not limited to:
**Functional Responsibilities**:

- Support position management in the HRIS system by modifying positions, tracking employee movement in support with the Corporations organization design. Review existing and new positions in the system.
- Act as the System lead in developing and providing direction to the maintenance, implementation, or upgrades of the HRIS system with a view of other areas impacting or being impacted by change. Develop and maintain training materials and support with user training sessions to support HRIS system demands
- Accountable for the maintenance and accuracy of our headcount report that is directly tied to our budget process. Work collaboratively with our Finance team and HR Business Partners to ensure the data is up to date.
- Responsible for the maintenance and execution of the Performance Management and Compensation modules within the HRIS system.
- Maintain our job evaluation process in collaboration with the Manager, Total Rewards and HR systems and our external consultant.
- Implement relevant HR Metrics to determine the efficiency and impact of the workforce
- Support with any other HR projects and duties as assigned.

This position offers a salary range of $76,577.52 to $95,721.90 plus a competitive benefit package.
