Delivery Driver

Abbotsford based Construction company looking to hire a delivery driver for the company.
A Class 5 Delivery driver will work with a team to deliver construction material to various commercial job sites. This position will also assist with various general tasks with in the shop at yard.
Wages are offered up to $20-24/hr depending on experience.
Benefits and RRSP contributions are available after probation period.
**Qualifications**:
Class 5 License.
Physically fit, able to lift up to 50lbs.
Experience in the construction industry is an asset,
Communicate with job-site staff, make notes and list when required.
**Job Duties**:
Deliver material to job sites.
Pickup fasteners, tools and equipment from local suppliers and bring to work sites.
Plan the route, follow instructions, locate location and meet the delivery schedules.
Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and Perform inspection of vehicle & perform preventative maintenance.
Report defects, accidents or any violations and comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size weight, route, parking and break periods) as well company procedures.
Fill out logbook and Complete Hilti on-track daily check list.
Must be able to operate forklift at yard for loading, unloading and moving material.
Assist in construction yard with various tasks such as counting and sorting rental material & equipments, Assist with maintenance on tower cranes.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
