**This position is casual part-time, and includes working mainly evenings and weekends.**
**Funeral Director Associate duties include, but are not limited to**:

- assistance on funeral services, visitations and other events
- parking lot duty in ALL types of weather
- timely and through care, cleaning, maintenance of funeral home buildings, grounds, vehicles, equipment, merchandise and other corporate property
- greeting people, directing them to the appropriate location
- welcoming the public, assisting with hanging of outerwear
- includes exposure to inclement weather, cleaning solvents and extensive driving in all weather conditions
- lifting and carrying (flower arrangements, furniture, etc.)
- clean and safely drive funeral vehicles, such as cars or hearses, in funeral processions
- carry flowers to hearses or limousines for transportation to places of interment
- perform a variety of tasks during funerals to assist funeral directors and to ensure that services run smoothly and as planned
- direct or escort visitors to appropriate locations
- act as pallbearer
- physical aspects of position include lifting and pushing 5 - 100 lbs. as well as being able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and walking throughout shift
- Must work at any of our four locations (Burlington, Grimsby & Stoney Creek)
- Casual, part time position; you select the hours/shifts that work for you - but must be available on average at least 24 hours/week

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.50 per hour
