**Electrical Technician (Panel Builder)**

Specific Engineering Solutions is a manufacturer of brewing and distilling equipment, pressure vessels, food and beverage equipment, and biotech systems. **Responsibilities**
- Develops electrical schematics, bill of materials and assembly drawings using AutoCAD.
- Design panel component layouts and wiring schematics in accordance with UL508A standards.
- Assemble industrial control panels in accordance with UL508A standards
- Basic configuration of components
- Assemble pre-designed control systems in our product line (pumps, motors, valves, electric elements, etc.)
- Test and troubleshoot control systems and panels.
- Provide remote assistance and support to customers.
- Provide minor shop maintenance when necessary.

**Qualifications**
- Applicable Electrical Technologies Diploma or similar field of study.
- Ability to read and write high level specifications and work instructions.
- Knowledgeable in high voltage 3phase and single phase (208VAC-600VAC) and low voltage (DC) control systems.
- Can interpret and design relay logic control systems.
- Able to use the necessary power tools to assemble a panel.
- Ability to create logical circuits based on operational description of customer requirements.
- Prior experience working with industrial control panels is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial standards UL 508A and NEC is an asset.
- An understand and previous experience working with PLC control systems is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
