The Warehouse Worker is responsible for sorting incoming/outgoing warehouse product with or without material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

**Pay Range**: $17.00 (Base Minimum) - $24.00 per hour
**Pay Scale**:Based on productivity

**Shift**: First Shift - Monday to Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
- Sorts and organizes freight
- Operate various types of material handling equipment
- Sort, repack, and label freight
- Identify unusable pallets
- Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
- Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyor belt
- Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
- Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
- Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

**Job Requirements**:

- 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
- Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment - continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
- Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
- Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
- Excellent customer service required
- Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
- Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
- Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
- Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
- Effective communication skills
- Safety shoes are required
- Other duties as assigned
