We are seeking to add to our dynamic team. We are looking for a **Part-Time Server** who will be responsible for positive customer interactions while serving in a friendly and efficient manner to ensure an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Prepare tables with décor, napkins, plates, utensils
- Adhere to all sanitation, safety and alcohol and beverage control policies
- Help and offer assistance to patrons in selecting food and beverage choices; explaining menu choices, identifying appropriate wine pairings and answering food preparation questions
- Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and deviation; knowing if the kitchen staff is running low on stock
- Transmit orders to bar and kitchen and identifying patrons’ special dietary needs and special requests
- Serve orders by picking up and delivering patron’s choices from bar and kitchen in an efficient and timely manner; ensure proper accompaniments and condiments are provided
- Help food preparation staff when necessary
- Maintain tables by removing dishes as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs
- Properly open and pour wine
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Ensure customers are enjoying their meals and beverage choices and take action to correct any problems
- Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting patrons to return
- Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill and payment to host; returning change or credit card/debit card slips to patrons
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by manager
- Follow proper cleaning procedures during and at end of shift
- Follow our food safety standards
- Work as a team with the kitchen staff

Qualifications:

- Must have a Smart Serve Certification
- Preferred serving experience
- Must be able to adapt to an ever-changing fast paced environment
- Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to perform manual duties that involve lifting objects of reasonable weight

**Salary**: minimum wage plus gratuities

Other:

- Ability to work a flexible schedule with availability to work afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Weekend availability
